Future Sawyers in the Making
There's something special about seeing the next generation step into the world of sawmilling — even if it’s just for a photo-op (for now!). Recently, Robert had some extra-special visitors at the shop: his own kids! They stopped by, and naturally, the Super Wide sawmill caught their attention. Before long, they were perched right on top, smiling from ear to ear.
Who knows? Maybe one day they'll be running the mill, sharpening blades, and stacking lumber like pros. For now, they’ve got the perfect seat on one tough machine!
Here’s to the hardworking hands that keep the sawdust flying — and the little hands learning along the way. ❤️
This memorable moment found its way into their school yearbook — a snapshot of future sawyers in the making. While they may still have some growing up to do before they start sharpening blades and sawing lumber, you never know... that spark of curiosity could very well lead them down the path of mastering the mill one day.
But here’s the best part — you don’t have to wait for 'one day' to start your sawmilling journey. Whether you’re a seasoned sawyer or just getting started, the Super Wide Sawmill can help you turn your woodworking dreams into reality.

Passing Down the Craft
We can say at Cooks, we know that sawmilling isn’t just a trade; it’s a tradition. From one generation to the next, those skills — and the stories shared around them — are what keep this craft alive. Robert’s kids may not be running the mill just yet, but they’ve certainly got a head start on learning the ropes.
So here’s to the hardworking hands that keep the sawdust flying — and to the little hands that are learning the trade, one visit to the shop at a time.
