HD3238 Hydraulic Sawmill
A fully hydraulic mill on the same heavy frame construction as our AC-36 production mills. Build your package and we'll go over it with you on the phone.
One configuration, fully equipped. Everything below is standard: hydraulic head up and down with a two-speed fast and slow switch, hydraulic feed, hydraulic blade guide in and out, hydraulic log lift, bi-directional #120 chain turner, two hydraulic squaring arms, two hydraulic log clamps, two hydraulic toe boards, remote control box on a 15 ft lead, blade lube and wipe, quick-drop outriggers, stainless bed caps and a dual axle trailer with brakes.
Twelve-volt motors and switching are the weak link on a sawmill — slow under load, hard on a battery, and one more thing to fail in the mud. Every powered function on this mill runs off the engine.
Factory-only items have to be part of the original build. Everything else can be added after delivery.
Optional. The HD3238 runs a 14 ft blade. Choose your blade type, then add spares so wear parts are on a shelf instead of on order.
Optional. Sharpen and set your own blades and a box of ten lasts a great deal longer.
Optional. This equipment stands separately from the mill. Edging on a board edger instead of the mill raises production by at least 35%. Board edgers and resaws are configured with you on the phone — call to add one to your build.
