Welcome SawyersTim Cook - Cooks Saw,

f you haven't already met me through my other writings, or we haven't spoke on the phone, please allow me to introduce myself...

I'm Tim Cook, co-owner of Cook's Saw MFG. LLC. My brother (Stephen) and I have been in the sawmill manufacturing business for nearly 50 years and we are located in Wicksburg, Alabama.

We wouldn't work in any other industry than the Lumber Industry. For it's the honest-working people we sell to that make our job enjoyable.

We sincerely want to help you make more money in your sawmill business. That's been our goal from the beginning, in fact we are creating this section about portable sawmills and wood working equipment information just for you.

If you ever talk with Stephen or me on the phone, you'll soon learn that we can easily spend most of our time explaining the how-to's of increasing production within your sawmill business. But not every one can talk to us at the same time to gain this information. For this reason we are setting up our website in a more personable one-on-one way so we can get information spread out to as many people as possible.

We want to share our lumber making knowledge with you, and we want to help every sawyer increase his profits. But there's just not enough hours in the work day to do this over the phone. And, not all of you have the extra time to spend with us especially when you're working to make a good living turning logs to lumber.

However, right here on our website you will hear from both Stephen and me on topics such as "How to Get Started Sawing", "Owning a Successful Sawmill Business" , "Increase Portable Sawmill Profits & Production", and my favorite "Sawmill Blade Insight". Just as if we were on the phone with you discussing it.

We not only want to encourage you to delve into our sawing information, we want you to gain understanding of the sawmill concepts we put forth.

If you have questions concerning our suggestions or equipment feel free to contact us. Our staff is well equipped to assist you.

So, when the day is spent, your sawmill is turned off for the night, and you're pondering how to make those bandsaw blades cut longer, come here to Cookssaw.com, bookmark our pages and spend time with us.

We are going to reveal what we know. Simply because we want you to increase your sawmill profits.

Just in case you are new here, let me explain how we have laid out the navigation system of our website. It's quite simple. You will find a categorized column of article links to your right. If at any time you want to look at our sawmill products the navigation links at the top and bottom of the page is where to click to find what you need.

When the time comes you wish to speak with us, please call 1-800-473-4804. We are open Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 5 pm CST.
